Hey – I’m Tom, a drummer based in Munich, Germany.
I’m deep into New Rock/Pop Country, German Pop, Singer-Songwriter, and Americana. I’ve been at it for years – from sweaty club nights to festival stages and prime-time TV.
On any gig, I’m the guy who shows up early, fully prepped, listens hard, locks in tight, and does whatever makes the artist shine. Club, TV promo, corporate event, or studio session – same mindset, every time.
I’ve backed artists like Anastacia, Andreas Gabalier, Howard Carpendale, and Heinz Rudolf Kunze (among others) on major TV shows across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland – including tight, high-pressure playback performances. I’ve also toured Germany with a standout pop-country singer-songwriter, playing clubs and festivals and opening for Rea Garvey.
Outside of music, I’ve spent over twenty years building strategic partnerships in tech – working around AI, data, and digital transformation, often at C-level. That background sharpened my communication, reliability, and team-first thinking – all of which I bring straight into sessions with artists, producers, labels, and agencies.
In 2024, I made several trips to Nashville, most recently as accredited media for the 58th CMA Awards. Experiencing the songwriting scene firsthand and catching live bands reignited my passion and deepened my love for modern country and roots music. While there, I took part in one-on-one workshops with A-list session and live drummers and joined studio sessions to absorb the vibe and production standards, bringing these insights back to Germany.
These days, my main lane is New Rock/Pop Country, German Pop and Singer-Songwriter projects, with classic Rock ’n’ Roll and Americana always in the mix. I’m co-founder and drummer of Munich Select, delivering high-end corporate events and trade shows – and I’m always up for studio work, live gigs, or touring.
Solid foundation: Full-time studies at the Drummers Collective in New York City, a Music Management degree from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and years of private study with leading drummers - always learning.
From my drum room in Munich, I record remote multi-track drums with multiple kits, cymbals, and mic setups – whatever best serves the song. It’s all about grooves that feel solid, musical, and alive. We iterate until it sits perfectly in your mix.
